Back Home from Everclear Tour |
|
Hello there,
I’m back home and it feels good, but already, I miss being on the road
with Everclear, which was an absolute blast! Everyone associated with
Everclear was fantastic to us. As well, the Paper Tongues were an exciting
new band to be with. We were thrilled to be part of a group of bands
who were embraced by true music fans at every stop. We so appreciated
the amazing response and support, particularly during these difficult times.
Last Wednesday’s show was the highlight to a tour full of memorable venues
and enthusiastic fans from the East Coast. We drove thousands of miles,
starting in New York City and traveling south to through Virginia and North
Carolina, then north through Vermont and Canada, taking in most of New England. Our
last show was just outside of Boston, at Patriot Place in Foxboro, Massachusetts…home
to the New England Patriots. The “Showcase Live” theatre
was a stellar venue which was filled to capacity with fans who were into the
music from the very start. What a great time we all had!
Now that I have a break before my next tour, I will resume finishing my third
album which, all being well, will be out sometime in the New Year. While
on tour, we released one of the new songs from the album, “These Days,” available
on iTunes, which has received some attention after our radio station visits. People
seem to identify the new song, which is a reflection of the difficult times
we are all currently facing. I hope you like it.

Well, that’s all for now. Thanks again for your incredible support.
All the best,
Tracy

It's raining madly in Towson and about 25 degrees less than normal. Certainly
climate change is having an effect everywhere. Today, we are all locked up
in our rooms looking forward to tonight's performance. The break is good at
this point...we have been going at a crazy pace and it feels great to slow
down for a moment.
Being on the road with Everclear has been a fantastic experience so far. We
feel very lucky to be touring during these difficult times and are so grateful
to everyone who are coming out to support us. Looking forward to the next few
shows and catching up with you later.
Bye for now, Tracy
Upcoming shows with Everclear:

Tour Update - Burlington, VT to Long Island then Philly |
|
Wednesday, 14 October 2009 00:00 |
Hello again,
Here we are in Long Island after a rather lengthy but beautiful drive from Burlington Vermont. It was amazing to see the fall colors this time of year, and even more amazing to have left behind snow. In one day, we went from 36 degrees to 62…quite a change.
The people in Vermont were great, and like all of our other stops, intensely into the music. Tonight we play at the Crazy Donkey in Long Island and tomorrow at the Living Arts Theatre in Philadelphia. Hopefully, we will continue to connect musically with everyone…in the end, that’s all that counts.
Signing off for now,
Tracy |

New Interview plus first single "These Days" on iTunes |
|
Sunday, 11 October 2009 03:28 |
Hello there,
Out on the road over these past few days with Everclear and Paper Tongues has been an exciting whirlwind. We just played The Hat Factory last night in Richmond, after stops in NYC, Poughkeepsie and Raleigh over the past week. Tonight we'll be playing in Falls Church, then on to Vermont and the rest of the tour. The fans at each show have been amazing. It’s great to have the chance to experience Everclear who puts on a fantastic show, so we've been hanging out after our set to watch both Everclear and the Paper Tongues rock on!
Earlier this week, I had on-air interviews with Jim Monaghan at WDHA 105.5 in NJ and Kitty Kinnin at WRVR (The River) 100.7 in NC. You can listen to the interview with Kitty at 1007theriver.com We are also very excited to have just released our new single "These Days" to radio, which is now available on iTunes. At this moment, we are heading north to Falls Church, and all being well, we’ll make our sound check on time at the State Theatre.
I'll keep you posted over the days ahead. And if you're able to make it to any of the upcoming shows, please pass by to say hello after my set…I'd love to meet you.
Thank you so much for your continued support and I look forward to seeing you soon.
All the best,
Tracy |
